Found
these c4 wheels
on Craigslist, ended up paying $100 then another $50 in gas and snacks for the 8 hours of driving.
They are 17x9.5 +56 with 270/40/17 tires, the offset being terrible is okay because they will need hub adapters to fit on Lexus 5x4.5" hubs.

$150 for wheels. Steal!
I found a set of wheels like mine on CL for $500, including some still-usable but aging tires. Tempting to buy them, both as spares and because each year I think I should get some winter tires.

They are cheap because the tires are old and 2 of the rims are lightly bent on the lip.
Second set of tires is nice, why not go with a different style while your at it though

I don’t pay attention to wheels’ aesthetics ; I just want something robust and the right size.
I can’t tell you how often I’ve posted a photo of a vehicle here, and someone has pointed out something obvious about the wheels that I never would have noticed because I just never look.

Perhaps this is a gift, the lust for better wheels is expensive.

All my money goes to non-stop repairs, so even if I had the lust I wouldn’t have the means.

Great price on those! I found my SHO slicers on eBay for $100, $50 mount and balance. I now want a set of C4 wheels just because. Where would I mount them? Who knows, the lady’s 200 could use em
